Fun fact: One of my claims to fame is that, as a Linfield College student, I was a very good matchmaker. My most famous matchmaking was between author Amy Tan and her husband, Louie DeMattei. She was a freshman. He was a graduating senior. They are still together.
Favorite spot on a Saturday night: Honestly? Babysitting my grandkids so that their parents can go out. If my husband and I are going out, we like to catch a movie and have dinner at Provecho.
Favorite movie: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. I still get a kick out of it.
Music of choice: I am a sucker for Michael Buble.
Favorite place to eat: Downtown has so many great places…Tough to choose! I love the peanut butter hamburger at Main Event, the pulled pork at Tommy O’s and anyplace I can get a fabulous BLT sandwich. And, I have already mentioned Provecho.
Motto/Inspirational quote: It is amazing how much you can get done when you don’t care who gets the credit.
