Current job: Receivables consultant at LaBrant Receivables Proudest professional moment: Saving a client $20,000 with a $6 box of donuts was a lot of fun, but for actual “pride,” seeing my book in hard copy for the first time was singular. First job: When I was 15, there was a telemarketing office in the basement of Little Italy’s down on Washington. We set appointments for timeshare presentations.

Favorite movie: I’m hard-pressed to pin it down to just one. “Life Is Beautiful,” “The Blues Brothers,” and “The Princess Bride” have all stood up to repeated re-watching.

Music of choice: Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Emily Luthor and Charlie Puth, Avishai Cohen, and when no one’s looking… opera.

Favorite place to eat: Ten years ago this would have been an easy one. Now West Vancouver is bursting at the seams with good eats. I’m going to punt on this one.

Motto/Inspirational quote: “The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” – G.B. Shaw
