The owners of Thai Orchid Restaurant have purchased the former Koplan’s Home Furnishings building annex at 213 W 11th Street in downtown Vancouver and plan to move there next year. Kat Saenguraiporn and her Husband, Noom Boonkunchieng, purchased the 4,800-square-foot building last week for $750,000 from Ryan Hurley of Hurley Development.
Vancovuer-based LSW Architechts is working with Thai Orchid on building improvements, which are expected to begin next month.
“It’s going to be a totally new look for Thai Orchid including outdoor seating and a nice patio,” said Saenguraiporn.
The restaurant will open in its new location in the early spring of 2013.
