Oregon-based Resource Staffing Services Inc. (RSSI) has announced plans to open a new branch next month in Vancouver.
The firm said it plans to do up to $6 million in business in its first two years of operation by specializing in areas of managed services, packaging production and logistics and distribution.
RSSI estimated it will help employ an average of 250 to 300 workers at client companies such as Columbia Distributing, Maletis, United Natural Foods Inc., Columbia River Logistics, United Warehousing and Christensen Yachts.
“Vancouver is the gateway between Portland and Seattle, with a large number of distribution centers that require skilled, reliable candidates,” said Jennifer Wall, president of RSSI. “We believe that in addition to a gradual economic upturn, the area is prime for a staffing agency that focuses on building long-term relationships with its clients and providing qualified employees versus temporary workers. We are very excited to work with Vancouver businesses in this capacity.”
The firm’s office will be located at 2501 Southeast Columbia Way, Suite 240.
