Horenstein said he was not familiar with NW Property Resources or what the building would eventually be used for. Public records show the Vancouver-based property management company has ties to the Firstenburg family.
Once the building is sold, Horenstein said the school district will add funds from the sale to its capital facilities account, as is required.
