More than 1,400 jobseekers attended a hiring event for New Season’s Market in northeast Vancouver on Thursday. Anyone who showed up at the job fair with a pre-completed profile received an interview, according to event organizers.

New Seasons hopes to hire roughly 100 people from the local area to work in its new Fisher’s Landing store, set to open sometime before Thanksgiving at the intersection of Southeast 164th Avenue and McGillivray Boulevard in Vancouver.

More than 1,600 people turned out at New Seasons’ July job fair in Beaverton, near the site of the company’s Progress Ridge location, which opened last week.

Hiring decisions for the Fisher’s Landing store will take place over the next few weeks.
