“The interview process was very thorough and confirmed that we have three very qualified candidates,” said Ridgefield Mayor Ron Onlsow. “We look forward to completing our due diligence in the next week or so.”
The city manager is responsible for a total of 33 full-time equivalent employees and oversees an annual budget of $10.4 million. The advertised salary range for the position is between $105,000 and $125,000.
Lee Knottnerus, Ridgefield administrative services director/city clerk, has served as acting city manager since Phil Messina tendered his resignation in November 2013.
