Dancing with the Local Stars raises $154,000

Saturday’s Dancing with the Local Stars raised $154,000, according to a report from the Fort Vancouver National Trust. The net proceeds will support the Trust’s programs at the Fort Vancouver National Site. Nearly 400 people attended the annual dance competition, which was held last weekend at the Hilton Vancouver.

This year’s winner is Scott Campbell, governmental and community affairs manager. Campbell performed a tango with his dance partner Christina Mullen, Arthur Murray dance instructor.

Each of the celebrity dancers was awarded a trophy for categories voted on by the audience. The celebrity dancers and their awards are:

  • Most Creative Performance: Dan Wyatt
  • Best Overall Dance Performance: Patti Westby
  • Most Charismatic Performance: Scott Campbell
  • Most Outrageous Performance: Lou Brancaccio
  • Fan Favorite: Dave Henderson
  • Best Entrance: Pat Jollota
  • Best Natural Talent: Katie Atkins-Castillo
  • Best Costume: Heidi Scarpelli
