Columbia Credit Union is one of the 20 healthiest credit unions in the country, according to a national study. The Vancouver-based financial institution was given an A+ rating and a #18 overall ranking by DepositAccounts.com, a site dedicated to researching the financial health of federally-insured banks and credit unions across the country.
According to the website, a number of factors including deposit growth, available capital and loan-to reserve ratios are used to compile the annual Top 200 Healthiest Credit Unions list.
Longview-based Fibre Federal Credit Union was the only other credit union in the region to appear on the list, coming in at #199.
