VBJ Columnist and consultant speaks at international conference

Valérie Berset-Price presented her “cultural intelligence and global leadership program” at the World Customs Organization’s annual PICARD Conference, held earlier this week in Morocco. PICARD stands for Partnerships in Customs Academic Research and Development.

Berset-Price, owner of the international business consulting firm Professional Passport, is the author of the Vancouver Business Journal’s advice column: Going Global: Business insight on an international scale.

“It is indeed a huge honor, as there will be representatives from 178 countries and the exposure will be phenomenal for my business,” Berset-Price said, prior to her presentation.

The annual conference promotes high-level exchanges on customs research and professionalism.

The World Customs Organization is a United Nations agency.
