Vancouver’s Downtown Association (VDA) is seeking former family members or employees who have a historic connection to Block 10 (the vacant lot between 8th and 9th streets off Washington Street).
Currently, VDA is working with the city of Vancouver to develop a temporary park at Block 10, and the downtown association would like to incorporate a bit of business history into the project
“It is an important part of our temporary park’s function – to create literal connections for pedestrians, and to create the historic connection between what was once there and what the property will likely see in its future,” said Lee Rafferty, executive director of the VDA.
