The Vancouver Rotary Foundation awarded $52,651 in community grants at a luncheon last week at the Red Lion Hotel at the Quay.
The foundation, which has given more than $3 million in scholarships to local students and grants to community organizations since its creation in 1972, is the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Vancouver.
Community Programs Fund grants were awarded to 16 community organizations:
