Vancouver Public Schools (VPS) is one of eight “Future Ready” districts featured in a set of professional learning resources recently released by the U.S. Department of Education.
The resources are designed to expand the capacity of district superintendents and their leadership teams to effectively lead the transition to digital learning.
“Our goal in Vancouver Public Schools is to provide our graduates with the adaptive skills they need to thrive in an increasingly interdependent economy and global community,” said VPS Superintendent Steve Webb, one of four finalists for the 2016 School Superintendents Association National Superintendent of the Year. “We’re delighted to partner with the Department of Education so that all students in America can benefit from this vision.”

The Department of Education selected VPS as an exemplary “Future Ready” district after 18 months of evaluating school districts across the country.
