Local filmmaker Beth Harrington has announced that her music documentary film, “The Winding Stream – The Carters, The Cashes and the Course of Country Music,” will have its Vancouver premiere at the Kiggins Theater on Saturday, November 21 at 7 p.m.
A Q&A session with Harrington will come after the screening, followed by no-host bar and further conversation in the Kiggins upstairs bar.
The screening is part of a national theatrical tour for the film including dates in Los Angeles and New York City. The film tells the story of the American roots music dynasty at the heart of Americana music – The Original Carter Family.
