SunModo Corp., a Vancouver-based solar panel mounting company, earned the Southwest Washington Award during last month’s UW Minority Business of the Year Awards.
Tony Liu, a former Intel mechanical engineer, founded Sunmodo in 2009. Since that time, the company has enjoyed rapid growth, quickly establishing itself as a provider of cost-effective, quality solar mounting products.
According to the Minority Business of the Year Awards selection committee, “SunModo understands the business they are in and has developed innovative products that differentiate them in the market. Their patented solar panel mounting systems help business and home owners reduce both their energy costs and their carbon footprints.”
