Urban Forestry Commission seeks nominations for Mac Award
The Vancouver Urban Forestry Commission is accepting nominations for the third annual Mac Award. The award is given to individuals, organizations and businesses that have made a significant, positive impact on Vancouver’s urban forest.
Activities worthy of recognition include organizing a tree planting project, preserving trees during development, and donating time and/or funds to advance the mission of the Urban Forestry program.
Nomination information and submission forms are available at the City of Vancouver website or by calling 360.487.8308. The deadline for entries is March 18.
