Transmarine Navigation Corp. relocates Pacific Northwest office to Vancouver

Transmarine Navigation Corporation, an international shipping agent headquartered in Long Beach, California, has leased approximately 3,500 square feet of office space at 1610 C Street in downtown Vancouver.

The company is relocating its Pacific Northwest office from Portland and expanding into the two-story, Class-A building with a move-in date scheduled for May 1.

“It’s going to be more efficient for our people to be located closer to where our business is located,” said Phil Brotherton, Transmarine Navigation Corp’s director of administration. “The Portland port area is in the north part of Portland, and we do a lot of work in Vancouver and in Longview.”

Brotherton explained that the move to Vancouver was also attractive because of a more favorable tax environment compared to Portland. Additionally, he said the company will enjoy cost savings in real estate and parking fees.

In signing the lease, KC Fuller of Eric Fuller & Associates Inc., represented the Landlord (Angelo Brothers Partnership) and Mark Carnese of Cushman & Wakefield represented the Tenant.
