“Children’s Center is facing some challenging times ahead,” said Kim Hash, the nonprofit’s development director. “Due to state budget cuts, the agency has already experienced cutbacks in funding, which is just the beginning. All proceeds from the luncheon support the mission of Children’s Center to provide quality mental health care for children and youth in Clark County.”
Children’s Center serves more than 400 children, youth and their families every week. Over 90 percent of the families served live in poverty.
