Rainier Truck Trailer Tank Repair LLC will move its headquarters from Rainier, Oregon into a 16,240-square-foot industrial building at Port of Kalama next month. The company is a Department of Transportation (WDOT & USDOT) certified inspection facility for large vehicles and tanks carrying chemicals and liquid
substances.

The move, announced earlier this month, is expected to take place on March 1.

We operate in a very tight niche industry and our business is growing steadily,” said Mark Marander, owner Rainier Truck Trailer Tank Repair, in a press release. “Port of Kalama offered the ideal location right off of I-5
better serve fleets of tankers. The port’s] industrial building and amenities exactly what we need to serve our customers. The building is the perfect size for tankers to pull in for service and inspection safe from the elements.”

The company has already hired a new employee for their Kalama operations and intends to hire several new employees in the next few months to meet demand for services.
