The state provides cash incentive grants and annual certificates of achievement to Workforce Development Councils (WDCs) with noteworthy performance. SWWDC achieved an average of more than 110 percent of its target goals and had the highest average performance of the state’s twelve workforce development councils compared to its state and federal performance measure targets.

The SWWDC was awarded $5,000 and a plaque and will reinvest the award money into local workforce training initiatives.
