Sleep County announces Pajama Bowl 2012

Sleep Country USA’s seventh annual Pajama Bowl for Foster Kids has officially opened for registration. The fundraising event will be held at Big Al’s Bowling in Vancouver on Sunday, April 15.

To date, Pajama Bowl has drawn thousands of pajama-clad bowlers out of bed and onto the bowling lanes. Donations raised at the event are used to fund “Little Wishes” programs that ensure foster children have the opportunity to participate in the same fun and important activities as their peers.

“The growing success of this event and incredible impact it has on our communities is both exciting and very rewarding,” said Terry Horsley, VP of brand strategy for Sleep Country USA. “Combining fun and philanthropy, we are proud that 100 percent of participant donations from this event are distributed to our 18 partner foster care organizations, enabling these generous community members to have a direct impact on the lives of area foster children.”

Businesses unable to attend the event are encouraged to sponsor a team or make a donation. For more information, visit the Pajama Bowl website.
