“It’s rewarding to see new businesses locate here as other tenants increase their footprint, indicating that perhaps the economy may be improving in some areas,” said Port Executive Director David Ripp.
The three new tenants to the existing industrial park property are Etec, LLC, an environmental remediation company; Fastenal, a local division of a global, public company that provides global sourcing, quality and logistics operations for manufacturing and construction stores; and Silver Star Cabinets, which provides custom millwork, retail store fixtures and display, 3D design service and more. In addition, Precision Saw Works is expanding by 2,213 square feet.
This business growth comes on the heels of the recent groundbreaking of the Steigerwald Commerce Center, a 122-acre industrial parcel, adjacent to the existing industrial park. Full build-out of the property is expected to match local demand as the port anticipates and responds to current market conditions.
