Popular Pajama Bowl fundraiser returning to Big Al’s

The Sleep Country Pajama Bowl for Foster Kids is taking place on April 21 at Big Al’s (16615 SE 18th Street, Vancouver) at 11 a.m.

The annual event raises money for everyday necessities for foster children, such as shoes and coats. It also provides funds for participation in music lessons, summer camp and tutoring for school.

Beginning March 11, participants can sign up in teams of five (adults and children) at www.pajamabowl.com. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite pair of family-friendly pajamas. Each team must raise or donate a minimum of $250 to participate.

All proceeds go directly to Sleep Country’s nonprofit foster organization partners. Teams can also select the organization they wish to support.
