Wags ‘N Whiskers, a new pet grooming business, opened this week in Old Town Battle Ground, at 710 E Main Street.
Co-owners Lloyd Neste and Adrieon Bister opened the business with the hopes of bringing a higher level of grooming care to the area.
“The smell of lavender calms a dog; classical music calms a dog. We’ve done these extra steps,” said Neste. “We’ve made it really bright and airy. Our main goal is less stress on the animal, and we’ve designed it to be comfortable for the four-legged and two-legged.”
A Battle Ground resident, Neste said he and Bister chose the Old Town location because of its high visibility.
“We felt that Old Town Battle Ground just needed a change of pace – a different type of business. We think it’s a perfect fit for us,” added Neste.
