Payless Drug Pharmacy Group has announced plans to relocate its pharmacy operations base from the Tigard, Oregon to Vancouver this summer.
The company, which is not affiliated with the former Payless Pharmacy chain, has leased 61,956 square feet of space at the Vancouver Tech Campus, located at 18110 SE 34th Street. The lease was brokered by Eric Fuller & Associates Inc. and Colliers International.
Founded in 1999, Payless Drug Pharmacy Group pegs itself as the Northwest’s leading provider of pharmaceutical care for seniors. The company offers customized pharmacy services to skilled nursing, assisted living and other healthcare facilities.
Initially, Payless will employ 350 people at the new Vancouver facility with room to grow. As of this writing, the company was looking to fill nearly 20 jobs on its website.
Payless Drug Pharmacy Group operates pharmacies in Alameda County, California as well as Portland, Eugene, Everett and Spokane. Its base of operations is currently located in the Oregon Business Park at 16100 SW 72nd Ave. in Tigard.
