Portland-based New Seasons Market plans to open a Seattle-area store in the fall of next year.
Located at 907 Ballard Way in Seattle, the 25,000-square-foot store will feature the company’s signature lineup of local produce, organic artisan breads and sustainably sourced meats and seafood.
“We are so looking forward to becoming part of Ballard,” said New Seasons President and CEO Wendy Collie. “We can’t wait to meet the residents of the neighborhood to hear how we can create a welcoming gathering place to celebrate good food. Our unique retail experience embraces the community, giving back and offering choice while supporting a healthy regional food system. Joining the Ballard community is part of our plan to grow thoughtfully and sustainably, partnering with farmers and producers to build long-term relationships and bring our customers the best of the region.”
The Ballard store will be New Seasons’ second in the Puget Sound area. The company announced in July plans to open a store in Mercer Island this fall.
New Seasons Market operates one store in Vancouver, at 2100 SE 164th Ave, Suite 101.
