Local congressmen ask coast guard for CRC economic impact study

Four Northwest members of Congress have requested that the U.S. Coast Guard conduct an economic impact study on the Columbia River Crossing (CRC) prior to that agency issuing any possible permits for the project.

 

In a letter sent today to the Coast Guard, Washington state Reps. Jaime Herrera Beutler, Doc Hastings, Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Idaho Representative Raul Labrador stated concerns over the CRC’s currently proposed design and vertical clearance over the Columbia River.
