The remodeled library will feature a 3,575-square-foot facility instead of the present 7,215-square-foot space. It will include a new layout, décor, furnishings and equipment.
A firm reopening date is expected to be announced in February.
Library inside Westfield Vancouver closing for remodel later this month
Vancouver Mall Community Library will be closed for remodeling beginning Monday, Dec. 24 and will reopen in March or April 2013 under the name “The Mall Library Connection.” The revised facility will be in the same location, adjacent to JC Penney on the upper level of Westfield Vancouver shopping center.
