Large ‘cash mob’ anticipated in downtown Vancouver Saturday

As hundreds of Cash Mobs across the country and around the world celebrate locally owned businesses on International Cash Mob Day, our very own Clark County will be right there with them.

Clark County Cash Mobs, a grassroots, community-lead group, will meet at noon in front of the Pacific Continental Bank in downtown Vancouver (911 Main Street). The ‘mob’ will then walk to a nearby business to support it.

Participants are asked to spend $10, providing one lucky business owner with their very own economic stimulus. After the event, which runs until 2 p.m., the group plans to celebrate a job well done at newly-opened Vinnie’s Pizza in downtown Vancouver.

All members of the public are encouraged to participate. For more information, visit the Clark County Cash Mobs Facebook page.
