Kaiser Permanente opened a medical office in Battle Ground this week, at 720 W. Main St.
To mark the occasion, Kaiser held a ribbon cutting ceremony and also donated $10,000 to Battle Ground HealthCare, a clinic that provides free primary care services to low-income, uninsured adults.
“Our Battle Ground members now have the option of seeing a physician closer to home,” said James Tan, MD, one of Kaiser Permanente’s new Battle Ground family practice physicians, in a press release. “Our physicians and staff are looking forward to getting to know our new neighbors and providing the high-quality, connected care our members value.”
Battle Ground Mayor Philip Johnson said the new clinic is a welcome addition to the city.
“We recognize their (Kaiser’s) investment in Battle Ground and their commitment to members who live and work in our community.”
In addition to housing four primary care providers, the office will feature on-site lab services and a separate room for minor medical procedures. It will also have a telemedicine room, where patients can have video appointments with Kaiser Permanente specialists. The office will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
