Clark County has released a draft supplemental environmental impact statement as part of the ongoing effort to update the local Comprehensive Growth Management Plan.
Released to the public on Wednesday, the draft document covers the following proposed alternatives to updating the plan:
- No change;
- Changes to long-range planning for some rural and urban areas;
- Urban growth boundary changes in Washougal, La Center, Ridgefield and Battle Ground to aid in job growth and residential growth;
- Rural, agriculture and forest changes.
The document is available to read on the county’s website.
Individuals interested in providing feedback to the Planning Commission and Board of County Councilors can do so during a joint public hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 1 and Thursday, Sept. 3. Both sessions are scheduled for 6 p.m. on the sixth floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
