The Washington state Department of Revenue is hosting a free workshop for new and small business owners in Vancouver on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
Participants will learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. Attendees receive a workbook and reference guide to the department’s rules and regulations. Also, attendees may earn one continuing professional education (CPE) credit.
The workshop will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Vancouver Community Library (Klickitat Room), 901 C St.
