Fred Meyer recently announced that customers and employees have donated $10,260.63 to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center’s cancer services as part of their quarterly giving campaign.
The money was raised through change dropped into coin boxes at checkstands in all seven Fred Meyer stores throughout Clark County during the fall of 2010. In addition, Fred Meyer employees in Clark County chose to combine their donations to the Fred Meyer Fund – Fred Meyer’s corporate foundation – with the coin box donations.
SalmonCreek HospitalFoundation accepted the donation last month.
