English Estate Winery to celebrate 109 years in Clark County

English Estate will celebrate 109 years in Clark County and 12 years as a winery on Saturday, April 14, from 12 to 6 p.m. with free public tours.

English Estate has been a part of Southwest Washington since 1903 when the English Family came here from Michigan. In 1980, the family planted pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon vines on the gravelly ridge located at the mouth of the Columbia River.

The winery, which features three tasting rooms, is known for its Bag-in-a-Beautiful Box (BIBB) wines.
