D.A. Davidson & Co., an employee-owned broker-dealer based in Great Falls, Montana, has opened a new office in Vancouver.

Founded in 1935, the company has more than 1,300 employees working in 24 states.

“We are pleased to continue expanding D.A. Davidson’s commitment to personalized service with an office in this great city,” said Michael Purpura, president of D.A. Davidson’s Individual Investor Group, in a press release. “Vancouver is a great fit for our firm, and the community will be delighted with our strong team of professionals there.”

The new office is located in downtown Vancouver at 703 Broadway St., Suite 103, in the M.J. Murdock Executive Plaza.

Heading up the new office are John C. Cameron, senior vice president, financial advisor, and Becki Garrow, senior registered associate.

Cameron has extensive experience in the financial services industry, most of it in the Pacific Northwest. He previously served with Umpqua Bank, and holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and Japanese studies from Bucknell University.

Garrow has more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry. She most recently worked alongside Cameron at Umpqua Bank. An active member of the Vancouver community, Garrow earned a sociology degree from Pacific Lutheran University.
