The free event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at Prairie High School, 11500 NE 117th Ave. in Vancouver.
The commissioners urge those attending to bring non-perishable food items for local food banks, continuing a practice in place for the past few years.
The commissioners will speak about public issues after they recognize volunteers for extraordinary efforts in 2012.
