“Under the rules created by the sponsors of the Columbia River Crossing project, Proposition 1 is the one and only opportunity the citizens of Clark County will have to tell their elected officials whether they are willing to pay for the maintenance and operation of light rail in Clark County,” said Herrera Beutler.
“It is unfortunate that the voters have not had the opportunity to weigh in until this far into the planning process,” she said, including that she intends “to take the results of Proposition 1 very seriously.”
