The engineering services counter at the City of Vancouver Permit Center is temporarily closed on Wednesdays through this fall.

The temporary once-a-week closure only affects residential and commercial developers needing engineering services, such as buying a water meter, getting a right-of-way permit or discussing a project with an engineering technician. These services are still available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

The Permit Center is located on the first floor of Vancouver City Hall, 415 W. 6th Street. It receives and processes applications for building and development permits, land use permits, home occupation permits, public utility connections, civil engineering intake and routing, and single trade permits.
