CenturyLink offering $110,000 in grants to Washington state teachers

The CenturyLink Clarke M. Williams Foundation’s Teachers and Technology grant program, administered by Organization for Educational Technology Curriculum (OETC), this week opened the application process for teachers in the company’s local service areas who want to innovatively implement technology in their classrooms to increase student achievement.

“With technology such a normal part of our everyday lives, teachers are constantly finding new and creative ways to use technology in their classrooms,” said Chris Denzin, CenturyLink Southwest Washington vice president and general manager. “This is a great opportunity for CenturyLink to help by identifying those teachers, recognize them for their innovation and support them with grants to expand their use of technology in the classroom.”
