Businesses invited to June 24 IT talent event

Businesses that employ information technology and/or software professionals are invited to a free “Link-2-Talent” event on Tuesday, June 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Clark College’s main campus.

Sponsored by the Southwest Washington Workforce Development Council (SWWDC), WorkSource and Clark College, the event will allow businesses to meet upcoming graduates who have been trained in CCNA/network, Exchange server/SQL, web design, IT management, information security and help desk.

Reservations are requested by today (Friday, June 13) to Darcy Hoffman at 360.735.5038 or dhoffman@esd.wa.gov. The event will be held at Clark College, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Penguin Union Building, room 258.

The program was funded through a Department of Labor Skills Training & Employment Partnership (STEP) grant secured by the Southwest Washington Workforce Development Council (SWWDC) to train individuals for information technology/software occupations.
