The Board of County Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill a volunteer position on the Solid Waste Advisory Commission.
The position represents the southeast area of the county. Applicants must reside in the area bounded roughly by what would be Northeast 179th Street on the north, State Route 503, or Northeast 117th Avenue, on the west, the Columbia River on the south and Skamania County on the east.
The group is a volunteer advisory panel to the Board of County Commissioners. Members make recommendations on solid waste, landfills, transfer stations, recycling, waste reduction programs and other issues.
