Area businesses supporting Children’s Center toy drive

Children’s Center is seeking donations of new and unwrapped toys, stuffed animals, hats and mittens to distribute to the children served by the agency. The Vancouver-based nonprofit serves more than 400 children every week and strives to provide a gift at the holidays for every child seen at the clinic, as well as all of the other children living in that household.

Donations will be accepted through December 17, 2013. The age range of the clients is pre-school through teens. Recommended items include board games, Legos, sporting equipment, movie passes, art supplies, gift cards, stuffed animals, books, etc.

Additional area businesses are encouraged to participate as a toy drop-off location. Contact Kim Hash at kimh@thechildrenscenter.org to have bins and materials delivered.
