Six projects will be honored for their innovative approach to community enhancement during the 17th annual Community Pride Design Awards ceremony on Friday, Nov. 2. Additionally, three honorable mentions will be presented.
The Community Pride Design Awards program was established in 1996 by local public and private organizations to recognize buildings, development and civic improvements that have had a positive impact on the community.

Vista Court Senior Apartments, 1405 Esther St.
Honorable Mentions go to Camas Ridge Apartments, 1420 N.W 28th Ave., Camas; Community Gardens at Columbia River Mental Health Services, 6926 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd.
A free public event, the Community Pride Design Awards ceremony will be held in the sixth-floor hearing room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St. at 3 p.m.
