Lacamas Community Credit Union has awarded three local high school graduates with its Joseph J. Boyle Memorial Scholarships for 2006. Jacob Mitchell Hager, a graduate of Camas High School, plans to attend Brigham Young University and will pursue pre-medicine. Christine Elyse Parsons, a graduate of Evergreen High School, plans to attend Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University to study chemical engineering. Whitney Yeong Peterson, a graduate of Hudson’s Bay High School, plans to study economics at the University of Washington.
