Clark College names dean of Basic Education, English, Communications and Humanities

Ray Korpi has been named dean of Basic Education, English, Communications and Humanities at Clark College. Korpi has been a member of the English department at Clark College since 1993 and has served as interim dean since 2003. He holds a Ph.D. in American studies from Washington State University Pullman as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in English from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

His experience includes time as a tenured faculty member at Clark College as well as an adjunct instructor and a credentials evaluator at the Art Institute of Portland.
